The fixtures for the upcoming 2019/20 Welsh Premier Women’s League season have been confirmed.
The season begins on the 8thSeptember and concludes on 12thApril.
Last season saw Cardiff Metropolitan lift the trophy for the second year on the bounce; they will face last years runners up, Swansea City on the opening day.
Another notable fixture on the opening day is Cardiff City, who finished third last season travelling to Abergavenny who concluded their 2018/19 season in fourth place.
The first south Wales derby between Cardiff City and Swansea City will take place on 27thOctober. Meanwhile, the first north Wales derby will be played just before the Christmas break on 15thDecember.
The final fixture could see a potential title decider with Cardiff City welcoming Cardiff Metropolitan on 12thApril.
The sides will be playing more games than ever before, as a result of the revamped League Cup format, which sees the 10 WPWL sides split into two groups. The draw for the League Cup is taking place on 19thJuly.
