JD Welsh Cup 2019/20: All Merthyr derby in Qualifying Round One
The first qualifying round of the JD Welsh Cup has been drawn.
Qualifying Round One ties will be played on the weekend of the 31st August.
Phoenix club Bangor 1876 have been handed a home tie against Llandudno Athletic.
There’s an all-Cardiff Combinations League Premier Division tie between Aberystwyth Exiles and Fairwater, ensuring an eighth-tier team will compete in Round Two of Qualifying.
Vale United enter the competition for the first time and will play fellow South Wales Alliance League club Treforest at the Pavillon.
There’s a Rhondda derby as recently-promoted Ynyshir Albion take on Rhondda rivals Blaenrhondda.
Merthyr Saints vs Quar Park Rangers is an all-Merthyr Derby.
