Bala Town sign Crewe trialist Lassana Mendes
Bala Town have made another signing in the form of midfielder Lassana Mendes.
Mendes is the fifth signing of the summer for Colin Caton as they prepare for the JD Cymru Premier season.
The 26-year-old who was at Colwyn Bay last season had recently been on trial with Football League club Crewe Alexandra.
Most recently he featured for Bala in their narrow friendly defeat to Fleetwood Town.
During his time at Colwyn Bay, he was named Managers and Supporters Player of the Year.
He was the scorer of Bay’s last ever goal on English soil in a 4-1 victory over Market Drayton Town in April.
Spaniard Mendes had played for Cadiz, CD Roquetas, and PV EJido back in Spain, before moving to England. He represented Radcliffe Borough and Stalybridge Celtic, before moving to Colwyn Bay in 2017.
