Sean McAllister: Former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder joins Newtown

Cymru Premier side Newtown have signed midfielder Sean McAllister following his departure from Chester.
McAllister joined Vanarama National League North outfit Chester in January, making 10 appearances for the club.
The 31-year-old also had spells with Scunthorpe United, Grimsby Town, Sheffield Wednesday, Bury, Mansfield, Shrewsbury and Port Vale.
McAllister is the second former player to join Newtown today, following the signing of Jack Thorn.
Thorn joins on a six-month loan from Wrexham.
Both players could make their Robins debut against Ammanford tomorrow in Round Two of the Nathaniel MG Cup.
