RECAP: Wales see victory slip through fingers as Northern Ireland draw

Wales take on Northern Ireland in their first home qualifier of the European Championship qualifying campaign.

Jayne Ludlow’s side goes into the game on the back of a 6-0 crushing of the Faroe Islands in Torsvollur on Thursday night.

Northern Ireland are bottom, having tasted a 6-0 defeat to 2019 World Cup quarter-finalists Norway.

The two sides last met in a doubleheader of friendlies, with Wales winning 3-1 on two occasions.
