Cefn Druids: Ancients sign three on Deadline Day

Michael Pritchard, Pape Ibrahima Diakhite, Phil Mooney all joined the Cefn Druids on Deadline Day.

Diakhite, Mooney and Pritchard were announced just before the midnight deadline.

Pritchard, 27, returns to the Cefn Druids after a spell in New Zealand with Melville United. 

The forward previously played for Play Welfare, Prestatyn and Rhyl, scoring eight goals in 41 appearances for the Ancients.

Defender Phil Mooney joins from English non-league side Widnes. 

He’s been at clubs like Atherton Collieries, Camel Lairds, Runcorn Linnets and Warrington Town. 

Mooney began his career at Skelmersdale United and amassed more than 150 appearances for his club.

Diakhite, 24, joins having had a background in French football. 

Diakhite, a forward, played for clubs like Aurillac and Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône .
