Penybont welcome Bala Town to the KYMCO Stadium in search of their first Cymru Premier win.

The newcomers have yet to win in the League, but earn a point at Latham Park in the first month of the season.

Rhys Griffiths side led The New Saints at half time but lost 2-1 after a second-half fightback from the Cymru Premier champions.

Griffiths was shown a red card at Park Hall, meaning he is suspended from the dugouts this afternoon.

Bala Town tasted their first defeat of the season as they lost to Connah’s Quay. The Lakesiders are currently fourth and can overtake The New Saints, who don’t play until Tuesday.

This is just the second competitive meeting between the two sides. Bala Town beat Penybont 4-1 in the Welsh Cup in 2016, going on to win the competition.
