RECAP: Swansea earn monumental victory over Met
Cardiff Metropolitan begin their defence of the WPWL title against title rivals Swansea City at Cyncoed Campus.
The Archers finished eight points ahead of Swansea last season. For the last two seasons, the Swans have finished behind Met in second.
Kerry Harris’ side have already started the season having been involved in UEFA Champions League action, finishing second in their group.
Met also started the domestic season beaten Briton Ferry 7-0 in the League Cup last week.
Last season Met won a treble, beating Swansea City in the FAW Women’s Cup final.
