RECAP: Germany thump Wales in Euro 2021 Qualifier

Wales host Germany at the Racecourse Ground in the Dragons’ second Euro 2021 Qualifier. 

Paul Bodin’s side began Group I with a victory over Belgium on Friday, as Brennan Johnson scored the only goal at Wrexham. 

Germany have yet to begin their campaign, but were involved in the European Under-21 Championship this summer. They lost 2-1 to winners Spain, having been unable to defend their crown from 2017.

They beat Greece 2-0 on Thursday in preparation for tonight’s clash.
