RECAP: Last-gap own-goal costs Met

Cardiff Metropolitan host the Connah’s Quay Nomads in the JD Cymru Premier.

Each side maintains an unbeaten league start to the season and both occupy a top-six spot.

Met have yet to defeat Connah’s Quay in the Cymru Premier – since their promotion in 2016.

Nomads were in Scottish Challenge Cup action last weekend, losing 2-0 to Partick Thistle. Andy Morrison’s side bounced back with a 4-2 win over Caernarfon Town at Deeside on Tuesday.

Connah’s Quay can overtake Barry should results go their way. Met can go as high as third.

The Met have an 11-league match unbeaten run at Cyncoed Campus – their last defeat being in November 2018 to Aberystwyth Town.
