Cefn Druids midfielder Alec Mudimu has moved to Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol.
Mudimu, 24, will link up with Sheriff Tiraspol in their pre-season which will begin in January.
FC Sheriff confirmed the transfer on their official club website.
His agent Dalibor Stevanovic spoke to Zimbabwe newspaper The Herald regarding his move to Moldova.
‘‘This is a very good opportunity for him because this is a very strong and professional club which regularly plays in European competitions,” said Stevanovic.
‘‘What impressed me most is his professionalism and humility. I am sure he will do well at the club and this is a good start for him to join a bigger club.
‘‘This move will give him a chance to play in European competitions. I will use my 17 years of playing professional football to help him.”
Mudimu was absent in Cefn Druids’ 3-0 Welsh Cup victory over Guilsfield.
His last appearance was a 2-1 defeat to Cardiff Met in which he missed a penalty and was red-carded.
Tiraspol will play in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round after winning the Moldovan National Division.
