Cup holders The New Saints will take on Cymru North leaders Prestatyn in the semi-final of the Welsh Cup, whilst Caernarfon will play Cardiff Metropolitan.

Both ties will be played at a neutral venue and will be played on either April 4 or April 5.

Current league leaders Prestatyn Town played in the Welsh Cup Final back in 2012, beating Bangor City 3-1 at the Racecourse Ground.

Caernarfon Town, who have never played in the Welsh Cup Final will be aiming to reach their first final. They’ve had four semi-final appearances, with their most recent in 2017.

They comfortably defeated the Cefn Druids 4-0 at The Oval on Friday to reach their fifth semi-final.

The Archers reached the final in 1998 as Inter CableTel, winning against Carmarthen Town on penalties.

Met were involved in last season’s semi-final, but lost 3-0 to Connah’s Quay at Latham Park.

The Archers gained revenge on the Nomads by defeating them 2-1 on Saturday to reach their second consecutive semi-final.
