Trethomas Bluebirds: Welsh League club announces new Chairman and Head Coach

Trethomas Bluebirds have announced two new appointments to their boardroom and management staff.

Andy Havelot and Lee Moore have joined the Welsh league club as Chairman and Head Coach respectively.

The two will assist the club as they make their steps towards playing in the FAW’s regionalised league which comes into effect next season.

Havelot joins having had a vast of experience in the Welsh League. Having held roles with Tredegar Town, Llanwern, Croesyceiliog, Cwmffrwdoer and Caerleon. 

Commenting on the appointment: “The time has come for a return to Welsh League football, it is something that will always be my passion.”

Joining Havelot at the club is Lee Moore who joins as Head Coach.

Moore will assist Mark Dunford as part of the coaching staff at the Welsh League club.  He was most recently working at Bridgend Street.

The UEFA A Licence holder has held previous roles with Dinas Powys and Llantwit Major.

Commenting on his appointment, Moore said: “On speaking with he club and management over the last few months, I’m really excited to be working with an exciting group of players and staff.

“It was always going to be a big pull to take me away from Bridgend Street who are a fantastic club and I wish them well in the future, but I’ve known Mark and Rayo for some years and worked previously together with them both.

“It’s an exciting time for the club at present and hopefully I can build on the success they’ve had so far and use my experience to expand the football club.”
