Ceri Morgan: Carmarthen midfielder announces departure on social media

Carmarthen Town midfielder Ceri Morgan has confirmed on Twitter that he will be leaving Richmond Park this summer.

The 29-year-old who hails from Pontypridd is moving on from the JD Cymru Premier club due to personal commitments. 

After joining from Cambrian & Clydach Vale in 2014, Morgan made 165 appearances for Carmarthen Town.

“Really difficult decision but I have decided to leave Carmarthen Town after five great seasons,” announced Morgan.

“I have a lot of brilliant memories to take with me as well as having met some fantastic teammates who have become friends for life.

“Massive thanks to all the staff at the club with a special mention to the Kitman Mark, you are a legend!

“As a player, I have always strived to give my full commitment to a club and at this present time to due a lot of commitments in my life, I feel I won’t be able to.

“All the best and Pob Lwc to the Old Gold for the future, it’s been a pleasure.”
