Aneurin Thomas, has been named Penrhyncoch’s new first-team manager.
Thomas, 47, had previously been assistant-manager at Cae Baker, but has been promoted to take a leading role.
An Aberystwyth Town legend, Thomas spent most of his playing career at Park Avenue and played in the first twenty seasons of the Cymru Premier since its inception in 1992, winning the FAW Clubman of the Year in 2012.
A former player of Aberystwyth Town, Llanidloes Town, Newtown and The New Saints, Thomas takes the reigns of the Aberystwyth based side.
The news of Thomas’ promotion follows the resignation of Gari Lewis last month.
Penrhyncoch finished the Cymru North season in eighth place with 1.44 points per game, having recorded 36 points from 25 games.
