Penybont have signed forward Ben Ahmun from STM Sports.
Ahmun was a long-term target for the Bridgend side and someone who the club were interested in January, but Rhys Griffiths now has his man.
The 28-year-old had been at the club since January 2018 after moving from Caldicot Town.
Last season, Ahmun scored 11 league goals for the Mellons as they finished fourth in the JD Cymru South.
“I can’t wait to get started, I’m really excited to test myself at this level,” said Ahmun after making the move to the Welsh top flight.
“A massive thank you to my old club STM Sports for the last couple of years and all the best for the future.”
He is the second forward to join Penybont in this window after the club made the earlier addition of Merthyr Town stalwart Ian Traylor.
Last week, the versatile Mael Davies joined from Cardiff Metropolitan.
In terms of outgoings, Curtis Jemmett-Hutson, who left the club last week, had a return to Barry Town United confirmed yesterday.
