Newtown move for Airbus UK defender Jake Phillips

Newtown have announced the signing of full-back Jake Phillips from Airbus UK Broughton.

Phillips is the sixth to sign for Newtown this summer, following the arrivals of defender James O’Neill, midfielders George Hughes, Jordan Evans and attackers James Davies and Jamie Breese.

The Robins have also had positive news in the form of contract extensions.

Captain Craig Williams and vice-captain Kieran Mills-Evans have committed their future, while Sean McAllister, Neil Mitchell, Jack Kelly, Dave Jones, Khamran Steventon, Nick Rushton, Ryan Edwards and Tom Goodwin have also extended their stay at Latham Park.
