Aberdare Town have appointed Terry Fitzpatrick as their new first-team manager.
Fitzpatrick returns to the club having held the role as assistant manager to Simon Jones.
Since leaving the club in September 2019, Fitzpatrick had a brief spell as manager of FC Tredegar before taking up a role with Wattsville.
Announcing his appointment on their website, Aberdare’s statement said: “Aberdare Town are pleased to announce that Terry Fitzpatrick has been appointed as the new men’s team manager.
“Our sincerest thanks to Wattsville for their help in the transfer of Terry’s coaching registration in such quick fashion.”
He will guide the club into the South Wales Alliance League after they weren’t admitted to the FAW’s Tier Three Leagues.
The UEFA B Licence coach succeeds Josh Evans who was dismissed with immediate effect in June.
