Bangor City sign midfielder Eridion Dida

Bangor City have signed Albanian midfielder Eridion Dida.

The 24-year-old joins the Citizens having been a former teammate of his manager Hugo Colace at Orvietana. 

Dida joins having last played for Serie D side Orvietana, where he made a total of 51 appearances.

“I’m really happy to be bringing Dida to Bangor, he has all the qualities of a great midfielder and will certainly make his presence known on the pitch,” said Dida’s new boss.

Joining Dida in North Wales is Gethin Williams who returns to the club as Bangor’s third signing of the Sumer.

Williams is a A Cymru Premier Development League winner with Bangor. 

A number of players have also confirmed their desire to remain at the club.

Agustin Zicarelli, Emmanuel Agyemang, Federico Tobler, Gabriele Brino, Lucas Surber and Piero Cauterucci have all put pen to paper to remaining at Nantporth.

Two players with connections to Bangor however have made the move to Stephen Vaughan’s FC Boca Gibraltar.

Nicolas Delvecchio – son of former Italy International Marco – has left the Citizens to join the Gibraltar Premier Division side.

Welsh youth International goalkeeper Jack Atkinson has also moved to Gibraltar, who already have a number of ex Bangor players.
