Cymru Premier 2020-21 fixtures announced

The Cymru Premier today announced its fixtures for the first part of the 2020/2022 season.

Games will be played behind-closed-doors until the FAW and the Welsh Government indicates otherwise.

The opening round of fixtures will take place on Saturday, 12 September.

Defending champions Connah’s Quay are at home to Bala Town in the first televised fixture of the season.

Newcomers Flint Town United and Haverfordwest County both at home, with the Silkmen facing Newtown and the Bluebirds facing the Cefn Druids.

Three days later, there will be a midweek se of fixtures for Matchday Two.

However, with Bala Town, Connah’s Quay and The New Saints in European action, their games have been moved to October. 

There will be two further full mid-week match days on Wednesday, 30 September and Tuesday, 6 October. 

There is a slight alteration to the festive fixtures with a number of derbies being realigned.

Derby Games will be played on Boxing Day and then three days later on Tuesday, 29th December before a full New Years Day fixture schedule.

Flint Town United replace Airbus UK Broughton as the Nomads’ new local rivals this season, whilst Barry will take on Penybont rather than Cardiff Met.

Saturday 14th September 

Aberystwyth Town v Cardiff Metropolitan – 14:30

Barry Town United v The New Saints – 14:30

Caernarfon Town v Penybont – 14:30

Connah’s Quay Nomads v Bala Town – 17:45

Flint Town United v Newtown – 14:30

Haverfordwest County v Cefn Druids – 14:30

Final day of Phase One:

Aberystwyth Town v Cefn Druids – 19:45

Bala Town v Flint Town United – 19:45

Cardiff Metropolitan v Barry Town United – 19:45

Newtown v Connah’s Quay Nomads – 19:45

Penybont v Haverfordwest County – 19:45

The New Saints v Caernarfon Town – 19:45
