Champions Connah’s Quay ended The New Saints’ unbeaten start to the season with a 2-0 victory at Deeside Stadium in the JD Cymru Premier.
Second-half goals from former TNS pair Aeron Edwards and Mike Wilde gave Andy Morrison’s side victory over their title rivals.
The Nomads remain in second but only on the virtue of goal difference and are showcasing good form after extend their winning run to six, whilst also remaining seven games unbeaten.
