Four Crosses: John Reid appointed first-team manager

Four Crosses have announced the appointment of John Reid.

The club are on the search for a new manager following Michael Barton’s decision to join Morda United.

Taking Barton’s place is John Reid who is leaving the Montgomeryshire outfit Trefonen after four years to take up the vacancy at the Ardal Leagues side.

He had been at the club for the four years, leading them to Cup success in 2018 and a promotion in 2019.

Announcing his exit from the Pitmen, Trefonen said: “It is with a great amount of sadness, that we announce this morning, that manager John Reid has chosen to step down from his role at Trefonen Football Club, in order to take up the vacant managerial position at Ardal North East Wales League club Four Crosses FC.”

Following Reid to Four Crosses is experienced striker Graham Dyke. Trefonen announced that Dyke is joining him as his assistant manager.
