Aberystwyth Town: Jon Owen returns while Connor Roberts extends Seasiders stay

Aberystwyth Town have announced the signing of attacker Jon Owen, who returns to Park Avenue for a second spell, while goalkeeper Connor Roberts’ loan at the Cymru Premier club has been extended.

Owen, 28, signed for Aberystwyth back in 2017 and enjoyed 18 months at the club, becoming a popular figure amongst Seasiders supporters, but returns to the club from CPD Porthmadog.

The attacker also has experience in the Cymru Leagues with Bangor City, Llangefni Town, Caersws, Rhyl, Llandudno and Cefn Druids.

Goalkeeper Connor Roberts extends his stay at Park Avenue, on loan from fellow Cymru Premier outfit The New Saints, having made 13 appearances for the Seasiders this season.

The 28-year-old shot-stopper has been a regular feature for Aberystwyth this season, having signed on loan for a second straight season over the summer.
