Estelle Randall opts to leave WPWL leaders Cardiff Met

Goalkeeper Estelle Randall has opted to leave Welsh Premier Women’s League side Cardiff Met.

During her time at Cyncoed Campus, won numerous honours, including a domestic treble in 2018/19. As a result of winning the league, she played in two qualifying rounds of the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

The 23-year-old leaves the South Wales club with them currently top of the league, as well as all but securing their place in the next round of the League Cup. In this current season, she made six appearances.

Prior to joining the Archers, in 2018, she was previously on the books of Bristol City and Cardiff City Ladies. 

Announcing her departure on Twitter, Randall tweeted: “Unfortunately I’ve had to make the decision to leave Cardiff Met. 

“Thanks to the players and coaches for making the past few years such a great experience. 

“A big shout out to the Strength and Conditioning team, as well as the physios.

“I’m now looking forward to my next chapter, wherever that may be.”
