Wales have been dealt a major blow with the news that Aaron Ramsey has reportedly suffered yet another injury setback.

Rob Page is due to announce the Wales squad tomorrow in the absence of Ryan Giggs but will be unable to call upon the Juventus star.

Ramsey, who has already missed 16 matches this season due to a string of injuries, is set to be ruled out until after the International break owing to a thigh injury.

Wales are already without David Brooks after the AFC Bournemouth star was ruled out with an ankle injury.

Ramsey’s persistent injury woes have long restricted him from strutting his stuff on the International stage.

Back in November, Wales were without the midfield maestro due to a recurrent thigh injury he picked up during Juventus’ 4-1 win over Ferencvraros, which saw him miss matches against the USA, Republic of Ireland, and Finland.

Overall, Ramsey has started only two games for the Red Dragons since the start of 2019 as a result of various injuries.

According to reports, the 30-year can be expected to be out of action for the next 20 days. Consequently, this will see him miss Juventus’ next two fixtures.

“He has physical problems and is unable to get continuity to his performances because he has to stop every two or three games,” said Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo.

“In the past, he has had major problems that have kept him away from the pitch for months. He is precious because he knows how to make the team play well and he plays well. He only has this physical weakness that forces him to stay out every now and then.”

Should he make a swift recovery, Ramsey will be eligible for the Turin Derby when Juventus resume their campaign on April 3.
