The New Saints stay just three points behind Connah’s Quay with a 5-0 victory over Cefn Druids.

Dean Ebbe got a brace with Jon Routledge, Adrian Cieslewicz, and Adam Roscrow scoring the others.

Druids stay at the bottom of the table with Aberystwyth Town and Flint Town United two points above with a game in hand.

Inside the first few minutes, Simon Spender crossed the ball to Dean Ebbe inside the box who tucked it past Michael Jones to give the Park Hall side a 1-0 lead.

Just under the quarter of an hour mark, Cieslewicz had a shot from outside the box that Jones saved to keep it to just a goal.

In the 26th minute, Jon Routledge scored on the rebound from a Cieslewicz shot to double The Saints lead.

Druids had a chance not long after as Charley Edge had an opportunity from about 35 yards out but went over the goal.

A minute later, TNS were up the other end of the pitch as Clark passed the ball to Ebbe who chipped it over Jones to get a brace and make it 3-0.

The Cefn Mawr side nearly got one back just after as Niall Flint went one on one with Paul Harrison as Flint got a shot away forcing Harrison to make his first save of the game.

Just before half-time Ryan Astles had an opportunity for the home side as a header of his just went over the crossbar.

Into the second half, Cieslewicz whipped a ball in with a Druids defender getting called for handball. In the 49th minute Cieslewicz took the penalty and scored to his right past Jones making it 4-0.

Just short of the hour mark, Jacob Wise tripped up Ebbe with a penalty given. Ebbe stood up and took it with Jones managing to save on Ebbe’s left.

Not too long after Jon Routledge got a through ball to Adam Roscrow who tucked it past Jones to get his first goal in the JD Cymru Premier for TNS.

Louis Robles had a chance late on in the game as Roscrow played it through to Robles who blazed it over the crossbar from three yards out.
