Welsh Cup: Second qualifying round draw in full – see who your team drew

The Football Association of Wales today conducted the second qualifying round draw for the Welsh Cup.

All ties are to be played on the weekend commencing of July 24, but clubs can rearrange the fixtures to either the Friday or Sunday.

One of the lowest-ranked sides left in the competition, Fairwater have been drawn against Cardiff rivals Clwb Cymric, after Casey Warren’s side shocked Ely Rangers.

Canton Rangers, another seventh-tier side will make the short trip across the West of Cardiff to face Caerau Ely at Cwrt-yr-Ala Road.

Another side that completed an upset, Maesteg Park, who reached the semi-final in 1992, will play at home against Porthcawl Town Athletic.

Rhuddlan Town, who shocked Ardal Leagues side St Asaph City, are on the road again and will play Denbigh Town at Central Park.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879, who won their first competitive game since emerging as a phoenix club, will play at home again against Prestatyn Sports after they defeated Rhyl Dragons 10-0.

Another attractive match up in North Wales is FC Queens Park, formerly of the Cymru Alliance, taking on FAW Trophy winners Cefn Albion.

Porthmadog meanwhile, one of Wales’ biggest clubs, are playing Nefyn United.
