Will Fuller has made a move away from Cardiff Met by completing a move to English non-league outfit Bath City.

The goalkeeper had been on trial with the National League South side and has impressed bosses enough to earn a deal at Twerton Park.

Fuller was on the lookout for a new club after moving on from Cyncoed Campus after ten years of service with the Archers.

Managed by Jerry Gill, Bath play in the sixth tier of English football. Their season last year was curtailed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but prior to that, they had secured fifth and fourth-placed finishes.

Announcing the signing on their social media feed, the Romans said: “We’re pleased to welcome goalkeeper Will Fuller to Twerton Park!”

The 27-year-old made over 250 appearances in the Cymru Premier and was a regular between the sticks for the Met.

During his time in South Wales, he featured for the club in the UEFA Europa League in their qualifiers against FC Progrès Niederkorn.

He and Harley Wilkinson, who was also on trial, will compete for the number one shirt for the season.

In June, Fuller penned an emotional statement, announcing his departure from the Welsh capital. It read: “Memories to last a lifetime shared with some incredible people over the 10 years. From Welsh Division Three to the Europa League. Hard to put into words the impact the club has had on me as a player and person. Hope to have made the shirt heavy. Thank you.”

Fuller’s former employers have been busy in securing their squad for the upcoming season.

Chris Baker has been named as the new club captain following the departure of Bradley Woolridge.

Baker along with shot-stopper Alex Lang, as well as Matt Chubb, Kyle McCarthy, Emlyn Lewis, Tom Price and Eliot Evans have all committed their future to the club.
