The New Saints will face the winner of CSKA Sofia vs NK Osijek should they beat Viktoria Plzeň in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
Anthony Limbrick’s men are hoping to become the first Welsh team to qualify for the group stages of a European competition.
They will have to defeat Czech outfit Viktoria Plzeň over two legs to reach the final round of qualifying though.
Incidentally, the closest that TNS got to qualifying was in 2010, when they lost 5-2 on aggregate to CSKA Sofia. They could face each other once more if both teams are successful in the third-round qualifying stage.
Osijek narrowly defeated Polish outfit Pogoń Szczecin to reach their stage. Sofia meanwhile qualified for the group stage of the 2020/21 UEFA Europa League.
