The opening stages of the match were controlled by the hosts as Llanelli couldn’t get out of their own half.

The first chance in the game went to Barry as a corner kick from Chris Hugh was crossed in as Exauce Dimonekene saved it off the line.

Marcus Day kicking off the scoring for the home side as they controlled the first 15 minutes. Luke Cummings fired a ball across goal to Mcglaggon as the keeper parried it away Marcus day was there to capitalize.

A free-kick was won at the halfway line for Barry and a header from Kayne Mcglaggon was tipped onto the bar by Dimonekene. The corner was hit in as Luke Cooper was there to fire straight down the middle to make it two for the hosts.

Gavin Chesterfield’s side were up by three inside 22 minutes. Recent summer recruit Day grabbed his second as he dribbled past the Llanelli defence to fire into the bottom left corner.

In a rare chance for Andy Legg’s side, Kyle Copp had a shot from a free kick as his effort was saved by Mike Lewis. Copp had another effort that was similar to the previous as he had a free-kick fired at the same corner which was saved by Lewis.

There was then another opportunity for the Reds to pull one back with Dylan Williams having an effort cleared off the line as Luke Cooper cleared the ball away.

More goals were to come in the second half, but it was more for Barry rather than a Reds fight back.

Mcglaggon got on the scoresheet following an error from Dimonekene as he mishandled the ball that landed straight to the forward.

Kavanagh hit a floating cross into the box in which clipped the crossbar. Dimonekene saved a close-range effort from Wharton to prevent a fourth for the hosts.

In the last real action of the game, Theo Wharton with a half volley finish from outside the box grabbed the fifth for the hosts.
