Easter Monday’s JD Cymru Premier results have seen Bala Town confirm their place in the 2022/23 UEFA Europa Conference League.

Following their 2-0 victory in their penultimate match of the season away at Caernarfon earlier today, Colin Caton’s men have qualified for the UEFA Europa Conference League for a second successive year and second place in the JD Cymru Premier thanks to goals by Will Evans and Dean Ebbe.

Newtown who were equal on points with the Lakesiders prior to kickoff needed three points against The New Saints to keep their European hopes alive but fell to a 2-0 defeat against the league Champions. However, Newtown’s can still qualify should The New Saints win the JD Welsh Cup against Penybont at the start of May.

Bala Town’s win means that the Lakesiders will play in European competitions for the eighth occasion in less than a decade.
