Alhagi Touray Sisay could be set for a move to the Football League after leaving Haverfordwest County this summer.

The 22-year-old opted to leave the Bluebirds and returned to Spain following the completion of his contract, but has since returned to England.

He had dislocated his shoulder towards the end of last season and undertook his own pre-season training regime with Global Sports.

After returning to the Cymru Premier after a stint in England, Sisay bagged 12 goals in 28 matches across all competitions for the West Wales club, helping them to a 10th-placed finish.

He could now though be in line to make a return to the English professional game after a brief time with Grimsby Town, having been signed by Ian Holloway.

Football Insider claims that he has been on trial with Accrington Stanley of League One and has scored three goals in their last two matches.

John Coleman’s side now face competition however from the Championship with Bristol City the highest ranked club said to hold an interest.

Accrington’s League One rivals Shrewsbury Town and Wycombe Wanderers are also said to be keen on the Spaniard with both clubs in recent years taking players from Wales.

Shrewsbury once had Tom Bradshaw on their books, as well as Lifumpa Mwandwe and Ryan Sears, and Wycombe last year signed JB Fischer from Cymru South outfit Swansea University.

Paul Simpson’s Carlisle United in League Two are keen, as are National League title hopefuls Wrexham, who could return to the Welsh system again to bolster their attack.
