Cardiff Met take on title rivals Swansea City at Cyncoed Campus in the Adran Premier on Sunday afternoon.

This game marks the halfway point of the season for both sides, and both are chasing the table-topping Bluebirds. This game on Sunday will be pivotal for either’s title challenge.

Met have the upper hand going into this one and sit in second place. Having lost on the opening day of the season, the Archers have won every game since. Goals have also been coming from all over the pitch and Izzy Taylor’s side will be confident of adding more to their tally on Sunday. Their last league game was a 3-1 win over Abergavenny Town, where Emily Allen scored a hat trick.

Swansea sit third in the table and have perhaps been off the boil at times this season. A defeat to Cardiff City earlier in the season could have been damaging, but they recovered well recording back-to-back victories against Pontypridd and TNS respectively. However, their last league game was a 2-2 draw at home to Aberystwyth Town. A Sarah Adams goal five minutes from time rescuing a point for the Swans. They will hope to get back on track on Sunday.

Met and Swansea have faced each other twice already this season. The Swans took the spoils in the first game, a 2-0 win at the Swansea.com Stadium. Last week, they faced each other in the third round of the FAW Cup, with the Archers coming out victorious in a penalty shootout. Who will come out on top Sunday?
