Haverfordwest County host already-relegated Airbus UK at the Ogi Bridge Meadow as they chase a European spot in the Cymru Premier.

A defeat for Caernarfon Town last night could allow the Bluebirds to open up a four-point lead over the Cofis. Flint Town United are also playing today and a win over Pontypridd United, coupled with a defeat for Haverfordwest could see them overtaken.

Airbus have yet to win a league match this season and have lost 25 out of their 26 matches. They are on course to record the lowest ever points tally in the history of the league. Their only positive result was a 4-4 draw with Newtown in September.

Tony Pennock has a new signing to call upon today with Dan Hawkins signing an 18-month deal. The former Hull City and Swansea City forward was last in the League of Ireland with Finn Harps and later Damien Duff’s Shelbourne, but has had a spell out with injury.

“Been a tough year with injury…time to get back doing what I love,” commented Hawkins about his move to his new club. He is eligible to play against the Wingmakers today.

Haverfordwest’s Lee Jenkins is hoping to avoid any injuries or knocks, as he was called up to the Cymru C squad for Tuesday’s clash with England at Altrincham.
