Ten-man Penybont knocked out of Conference League by Santa Coloma

Penybont are out of the UEFA Europa Conference League after suffering a 2-0 defeat in extra time to FC Santa Coloma.
The Bont are out after losing 3-1 on aggregate, having been unable to build on their 1-1 draw with the Andorrans at the Brewery Field in the first leg. Ivan Garrido scored to give Coloma the lead in the 106th minute, and then as Bont chased an equaliser Chris Venables was sent off. Christian Novoa ensured the victory with a minute two minutes from time, bringing to an end Penybont’s European campaign at the first hurdle.
Coloma progress to the next stage and will play the winner out of Cosmos or Sutjeska, with the Montenegrin outfit holding a 1-0 lead. Penybont meanwhile will resume their pre-season preparations for the Cymru Premier.
