Flint Town United have been installed as favourites to win the Cymru North 2023/24 title, as per the bookmakers.

The Silkmen finished second from bottom in the Cymru Premier last season, suffering relegation on the final day after losing to Pontypridd United, and Aberystwyth Town beat Caernarfon Town.

Manager Lee Fowler, who played for Wrexham, and his assistant coach Iwan Williams, have remained at the Essity Stadium, and are now hopeful of guiding the club back to the top flight of Welsh football at the first time of asking.

Holywell Town – who pushed Colwyn Bay for the title last year – are being tipped to be in the title picture once again. The Wellmen didn’t apply for a Tier One Licence but following their impressive performance last year they may feel inclined to do so this time around.

Airbus UK who finished bottom with the least amount of points recorded in the history of the Cymru Premier, is tipped to be near Holywell, and then further on down is Llandudno who are 10/1. Ruthin Town are predicted to finish fifth and Guilsfield sixth.

As for the newly promoted teams, Bangor 1876 have been tipped to have the best season, with odds of 33/1, placing them higher than previous winners Prestatyn Town.

The Citizens beat Cefn Albion to win promotion, and have been tipped to perform better than Denbigh Town – the team they finished behind last season – who could be involved in the relegation picture according to the bookmaker.

Caersws, who won the Ardal North East last year, have the same odds as Denbigh, along with the likes of Llanidloes Town, Buckley Town, Gresford, Mold Alexandra, Porthmadog, and Chirk AAA, which makes up the bottom half of the table.
