Haverfordwest County host the Connah’s Quay Nomads at the Bridge Meadow in the Cymru Premier.

Tony Pennock’s side have struggled for form this season and have won just one of their seven league matches, which came away at Colwyn Bay. It was a crushing 4-0 defeat for the men from West Wales in their last home match against Newtown, meanwhile, TNS thumped them 5-1 at Park Hall last weekend.

As for Connah’s Quay, they’ve been on a four game winning run and scored four past Cardiff Met last week. They’ve lost twice in the league this season and those defeats came to TNS and Bala Town.

In terms of the head-to-head, Haverfordwest claimed the most recent win when they beat them 2-1 back in January. Jordan Davies scored for the hosts that day but is now back with Connah’s Quay after joining for an undisclosed fee in the summer.

In the three seasons that Haverfordwest have been back in the top-flight that was there only win meanwhile they’ve tasted five defeats and earned two draws in the other meetings.

What time is kick-off?

Haverfordwest County v Connah’s Quay gets underway at the Bridge Meadow at 2.30 pm. Team news should be out at around 1:15 p.m.

Latest team news…

The Bluebirds have had their fair share of injury problems this season and have several long-term absentees.

Dylan Rees is out for the season with an ACL injury but this week signed a year-long extension to his contract which will no doubt provide him with the motivation for a strong return.

Wales international Jazz Richards has not featured in the Cymru Premier this season after suffering an injury during their Europa Conference League qualifying campaign.

Elliot Scotcher is another player that is currently sidelined with an injury and did not play in Europe this summer. Kyle Patten has had the same fate and his last game was on April 15.

Summer signing Rio Dyer who joined from Briton Ferry is also absent. He got an 11-minute cameo against Shkendija in the first leg and was an unused substitute against Torshavn at the Cardiff City Stadium but has not featured since the 4-0 defeat to Cardiff City in the Nathaniel MG Cup.

Former Rangers goalkeeper Andy Firth has been missing for the last five matches due to an unknown reason.

Penalty specialist Callum Morris has been limited to just 46 minutes of pitch time this season.
