Llanelli Town striker Ethan Cann is the surprise inclusion as Mark Jones names his Wales C squad to face England.

For the second successive season, Jonah has named a player outside of the Cymru Premier. Cann has 12 goals and one assist in 19 Cymru South games this season. The 21-year-old also scored a brace in a Welsh Cup victory for Llanelli over Penybont back in November.

Jordan Davies, who has agreed a pre-contract move to Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton is also in the squad. The former Futsal international has 19 goals in the league this year and is the highest-scoring Welshman in the division.

Alex Ramsay’s departure from Bala Town has meant that there was a goalkeeper spot available. Kelland Absalom who replaced Ramsay at Maes Tegid is named alongside Connor Roberts.

Haverfordwest County’s Rhys Abbruzzesse is named in the squad for the first time. He has played 22 times for the Bluebirds this season and has got seven goal contributions from left-back.

Caernarfon Town midfielder Danny Gossett returns to the squad having played in the first fixture back in March 2018. Connah’s Quay midfielder Noah Edwards has been called up having been an unused substitute in the fixture at Jenner Park.

Gossett and Edwards receive a call-up in the place of Leo Smith, who despite playing 25 times for league winners TNS, registering three goals and three assists, is not included. Adam Davies, the second-highest-scoring Welshman in the league with 13 goals and four assists, is not included.
