EA FC 27 Cymru Premier: Ratings revealed for Kilmarnock, Newport County, St Johnstone and Wrexham stars

EA FC 27 Cymru Premier player ratings have been revealed, giving Welsh football fans a chance to see how a host of familiar names have been rated in EA Sports’ hugely popular football game.
The Cymru Premier isn’t included as a playable league in EA FC 27, but thankfully there are still plenty of connections to Welsh domestic football. A number of players who cut their teeth in the Cymru Premier have gone on to feature in the game, giving supporters the chance to spot some familiar names and see how their ratings compare.
EA SPORTS FC 27 is the latest instalment in one of the world’s biggest football gaming franchises, with the game officially launching worldwide on September 25, 2026 and early access beginning on September 18 for eligible players.
For Wales fans, the latest ratings provide an interesting snapshot of players who have links to the domestic game, with Swansea City’s Ben Cabango leading the names featured here on 72, followed by Max Cleworth of Wrexham on 70. There are also several new additions to discover, alongside players whose ratings have risen or fallen from previous editions.
The story of the EA FC 27 ratings
The biggest rating increase belongs to Cardiff City’s Matthew Turner, who makes a huge eight-point jump. That puts him firmly among the players to watch for anyone tracking Welsh footballers in EA FC 27.
The 22-year-old made 22 appearances in the Cymru Premier for both Haverfordwest County and Aberystwyth Town.
Last season, he featured eight times in all competitions for the Bluebirds, keeping three clean sheets during his appearances.
Lee Jenkins is another one of the biggest risers in the EA FC 27 ratings, with the defender making a six-point jump to reach 62. Billy Kirkman has also moved in the right direction, gaining two points to 59, while Max Cleworth has added two to reach an impressive 70. That puts Cleworth among the highest-rated players featured in the list.
Ryan Hedges has also seen his EA FC 27 rating drop by one point, falling from 70 to 69 following his move from Blackburn Rovers to Derby County. The Welsh winger previously spent time with Flint Town United and played in the Cymru Alliance.
There are also three-point increases for both Joe Thomas and Thomas Davies, with the pair now rated 60. Their improvements add to a group of players making noticeable gains in the latest ratings, with both moving comfortably into the 60-plus bracket. Joe Thomas didn’t play in the Cymru Premier, but his club Cambrian United are now in the Welsh top-flgiht.
Other former Cymru Premier players featuring in EA FC 27 include Sam Finley, who remains rated 61 at Tranmere Rovers. Josh Thomas has risen from 58 to 60 at Fleetwood Town, while Jordan Davies returns to the game with a 60 rating, having not featured in EA FC 26 despite previously having a 61-rated card with Grimsby Town. Jake Bickerstaff, formerly of Caernarfon Town and now at Cheltenham Town, has also made a two-point jump, going from 57 to 60 in EA FC 27. Tom Bradshaw, the former Aberystwyth Town striker, has gone in the opposite direction, dropping two points from 67 to 65.
At the top of the standings, meanwhile, is Ben Cabango, who has edged up by one point to 72. That makes him the highest-rated player featured, with his overall rating sitting two points above Cleworth. While his rise is smaller than those of Jenkins, Thomas and Davies, Cabango’s 72 rating puts him at the summit of the list.
New faces in EA FC 27
Several players are listed as new additions to EA FC 27, giving Welsh football fans some fresh names to look out for when exploring the latest ratings. The four new entries add further interest to the EA FC 27 Cymru Premier ratings, particularly for supporters who like to keep track of emerging Welsh footballers and build squads featuring players with links to the domestic game.
James Crole makes his debut in the game with a rating of 57, while Isaac Lee is slightly higher at 58. Ieuan Owen also arrives with a rating of 57, meaning he sits level with Crole in the rankings. Completing the group is Cole Jarvis, who receives a rating of 58, putting him alongside Lee as the highest-rated of the four new additions.
Louis Lloyd is another former Cymru Premier player now featuring in EA FC 27. He made five appearances in the Scottish Championship for St Johnstone last season and has since featured twice in the Scottish Premiership. The former Caernarfon Town forward was a popular figure at the club, scoring 31 goals in 77 appearances, and is now rated 57 in the game.
For EA FC players, the inclusion of these names provides another opportunity to discover players who may not have previously featured in the game.
