So, looking at the current Cymru Premier clubs and ranking them according to the distance between their ground and the nearest Wetherspoons, using the distances supplied for this list.

Which Cymru Premier clubs are closest to a Wetherspoons?

There is a clear winner when it comes to having a Spoons almost on the doorstep.

Caernarfon Town are just 0.8 miles from Tafarn Y Porth, while Haverfordwest County are even closer at 0.6 miles from The William Owen.

At the other end of the scale, Ammanford supporters face an 8.5-mile journey to The Mardy Inn.

Haverfordwest County ground is closest to a Wetherspoons

The Cymru Premier club with the nearest Wetherspoons is Haverfordwest County.

The William Owen is just 0.6 miles from the Bluebirds’ ground, making it the shortest distance on our list.

That means supporters heading into Haverfordwest after the match have less than a mile between the ground and their nearest Wetherspoons.

Caernarfon Town are next.

Tafarn Y Porth is 0.8 miles from the Canaries’ ground, meaning supporters can also reach a Wetherspoons without having to go particularly far.

There are then three more clubs where the distance is around a mile.

Llandudno are 1.0 mile from The Palladium, while Penybont are 1.1 miles from The Wyndham Arms Hotel.

Briton Ferry Llansawel supporters can head to The David Protheroe, while Cardiff Met’s nearest option is The Aneurin Bevan.

The biggest gaps are in the second half of the table

If you’re an Ammanford supporter hoping for a convenient post-match Wetherspoons, you’ll have the longest trip of all the clubs on our list.

The Mardy Inn is 8.5 miles from the ground. That’s almost 14 kilometres, considerably further than the 0.6-mile distance between Haverfordwest County and The William Owen.

In fact, the difference between the shortest and longest distances is 7.9 miles.

So while some Cymru Premier fans can be in a Wetherspoons less than a mile after leaving the ground, Ammanford supporters have a rather longer journey ahead of them.
