What do the valuations tell us?

The combined market value of the 16 clubs stands at €16.635m, with TNS accounting for the largest share.

Transfermarkt valuations are estimates rather than confirmed transfer fees. They can reflect factors such as players’ ages, performances, contracts and perceived potential, but they do not capture every element that determines a team’s strength.

The figures offer supporters another way to compare clubs and their playing resources. Ultimately, though, estimated market value is only one part of the picture, with results on the pitch providing the real measure of success.
