Who are the lowest-ranked teams left in the FAW Amateur Trophy?

Splott Albion are the lowest-ranked side remaining in the competition after securing their place in the fourth round.

They progressed by beating Rhydyfelin Non Pol, who were competing in the seventh tier and had previously been the lowest-ranked team left in the tournament. Splott have now taken on that mantle and will be hoping to continue their impressive cup run against Rogerstone.

Cardiff Cosmopolitan are another of the lower-ranked sides still involved. The fifth-tier club produced an impressive result by defeating Newport Corinthians, who play two divisions above them.

Rogerstone will also be full of confidence after knocking out 2024/25 winners Port Talbot Town. They currently compete in the Gwent Premier League, the fourth tier of Welsh football, and now face a potentially intriguing meeting with Splott Albion.

Talysarn Celts have also enjoyed a notable cup run, having beaten Kerry, a side from the league above them. They now face Cardiff Cosmopolitan in what could be one of the most interesting ties of the round.

When will the FAW Amateur Trophy fourth-round ties be played?

The fourth-round ties are scheduled to take place across the weekend of December 4-5, 2026.

With the competition now going national for the first time, the remaining clubs will be hoping to take another step towards lifting the trophy.
