Barry Town beat Briton Ferry 3-1 at Jenner Park with goals from Keenan Patten, Ollie Hulbert and Eliot Richards. Ellis Sage got the goal for the visitors.
Here we look at three players who stood out from that game.
Ollie Hulbert – Barry Town
A menace to the Briton Ferry defence all game. Hulbert had serval chances to score in the first half finding pockets of space behind the Ferry backline.
His movement with and with out the ball pulled players out of position creating space for others.
He got himself into a good position to score Barry’s third goal hitting a good shot past Will Fuller. Forced off after just over an hour but his performance had a big impact of the game.
Keenan Patten – Barry Town
Scored Barry’s first goal and set up their third in a stunning display from the Barry man. Patten moved around the pitch with pace and caused havoc in the Briton Ferry defence with his movement. Keep the ball well and was quick as Barry went from defence into attack. His goal was a well crafted finish after cutting past two defenders before curling the ball into the bottom corner leaving Rhys Wilson no chance.
Jasper Payne – Briton Ferry
A bright performance from the 19-year-old. Denied a goal after a good finish as the ball hand struck his hand when he brought it down from Luke Bowens knock down. Found pockets of space in the box though out the game and kept looking to make something happen for his team. His pace and movement saw him create chances.
