The FAW Amateur Trophy Round Three draw has been made, with the last 32 teams in the competition now knowing who they will face.

There are several eye-catching ties in the FAW Amateur Trophy Round Three draw, including a meeting between two-time winners Conwy Borough and Prestatyn Town.

Conwy Borough, who were recently taken over by Ronnie Green, will have home advantage when they welcome Prestatyn Town, while defending champions Port Talbot Town will travel to Rogerstone.

The draw also includes several clubs with a long history in the competition, as well as some lower-ranked sides hoping to cause an upset.

FAW Amateur Trophy Round Three draw – Northern section

Conwy Borough are among the most fancied teams remaining in the Northern section after winning the competition twice.

They will host Prestatyn Town in one of the standout ties from the FAW Amateur Trophy Round Three draw.

Llanidloes Town also have an impressive record in the competition. They are two-time winners and seven-time finalists, although their last appearance in the final came in 1978.

They travel to Trearddur Bay knowing their experience could prove valuable.

Llanrhaeadr reached the final in 2004 before losing to Penycae, while the Northern section also features Kerry, Talysarn Celts, Kinmel Bay, Pwllheli, Cerriydrudion, Dolgellau and Queens Park.

Knighton Town handed Southern section tie

Knighton Town have been placed in the Southern section despite playing in the Ardal North East.

They will host Margam Youth Centre, who play in the South Wales Premier League and are a fifth-tier side.

It could be an intriguing tie, with Knighton looking to make the most of home advantage against higher-level opposition.

Ton Pentre are another club with plenty of history in the competition. Their only triumph came in 1952, and they will travel to CKSV in Round Three.

Rhydyfelin Non Pol are the lowest-ranked side remaining in the competition and have been handed a home tie against Cardiff-based Splott Albion, who play one level above them.

Port Talbot Town face Rogerstone

Port Talbot Town remain in the hunt to retain the trophy after lifting the FAW Amateur Trophy in 2025.

They beat Penygraig United in last year’s final and will now travel to Rogerstone as they begin their latest attempt to defend the title.

Penlan will also be looking to go one step further after reaching the final in 2017. They lost to Chirk AAA on that occasion and now face an away trip to Cwmbran Celtic.

The rest of the Southern section sees Newport Corinthians host Cardiff Cosmopolitan, Goytre take on Giants Grave and Treherbert/Ynysygerwn face Mumbles Rangers.

Llwydcoed play Clwb Cymric, while Pontyclun take on Pontarddulais Town.
