Storm Boelo and challenging weather conditions played their part in a disrupted weekend of Cymru Leagues action, with several fixtures postponed and attendances potentially affected across the divisions.

The Cymru South was particularly badly hit, with the entire Saturday programme postponed as a result of the conditions. Four flood warnings were also issued in Wales, adding to the difficulties facing clubs, supporters and organisers.

Despite the disruption, there was still plenty of football to follow across the Cymru Premier, Cymru North and Cymru South, with Colwyn Bay recording the biggest attendance of the weekend.

Here is a full breakdown of the reported attendances across all three divisions on October 23 and 24, followed by the five biggest crowds.

Cymru Premier attendances: Colwyn Bay lead the way

Colwyn Bay attracted the largest crowd across the three divisions, with 664 supporters watching their clash with Cardiff Met on Friday night.

Caernarfon Town were next, drawing 604 fans for their meeting with Briton Ferry Llansawel, while Cambrian United’s match against Airbus UK Broughton attracted 447.

Saturday’s programme included Connah’s Quay Nomads against Llandudno, which recorded an attendance of 287. The figure for Barry Town United’s fixture against Haverfordwest County was not available.

Across the previous round of Cymru Premier fixtures, the division recorded a combined attendance of 4,691 across eight matches, averaging 586 supporters per game.

By comparison, the latest round on October 23–24 recorded a total of 2,668 across the six matches with reported attendances, giving an average of 445 per game.

That represents a decrease of 141 supporters per match (24.1 per cent) compared with the previous round, with Storm Boelo and the challenging weather conditions potentially contributing to the lower crowds.
