Llandudno have confirmed that Jay Davies has left his role as Ladies First Team Manager following a challenging start to the new Adran North campaign.
Davies departs with the side sitting bottom of the table after suffering a heavy 14-0 defeat to Llanfair United in their opening league fixture, in which they were only able to name one substitute.
The club confirmed the news in a statement, thanking Davies for his work and dedication during his time in charge.
“Llandudno Football Club can confirm that Jay Davies has left his role as Ladies First Team Manager.
“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Jay for his hard work, commitment and dedication to our ladies’ team throughout his time at the club.”

Jay Davies leaves Llandudno after difficult run of results
The 14-0 loss to Llanfair was followed by an 11-0 defeat to Wrexham Foresters in the Adran Trophy, while they also suffered a 4-0 loss to Berriew.
However, there have been some positives for the side in cup competition. An emphatic 7-0 victory was recorded over Towyn in the NWCFA Women’s Challenge Cup back in September.
Davies initially took charge as interim manager in 2024
Davies was initially appointed as interim manager in October 2024 following the departure of Billy Fuller.
He subsequently guided the side through the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign, with Llandudno finishing fourth in the Adran North that season.
The club have experienced further challenges since then, with two wins from their 12 league matches last season leaving them fifth in the standings.

Llandudno have seen significant summer squad changes
There has also been considerable change within the Llandudno squad over the summer.
Experienced trio Sioned Phillips, Kelsey Davies and Megan Robinson-Skelly all departed, alongside promising youngsters Seren Cashen and Angharad Jones.
Those departures have represented a significant change to the playing group as the club look to navigate the current campaign.
Llandudno’s next scheduled fixture is against Wrexham Foresters on November 1 in the Adran North, offering the side an opportunity to respond following their difficult start to the season.
