Cymru Premier attendances averaged 715 across the eight fixtures played on Friday, November 6, representing a significant increase on last week’s average of 488.
A total of 5,720 supporters attended the eight matches, meaning the average crowd was up by 227, or 46.5 per cent, compared to October 30 and 31.
All eight fixtures took place on Friday night this week, contrasting with last week’s schedule, which saw two matches played on Saturday, with kick-off times of 12.30pm and 5.15pm.
The biggest crowd of the evening came at the Essity Stadium, where Connah’s Quay Nomads welcomed Flint in a fixture that proved particularly significant for the home side’s attendance figures.

Connah’s Quay Nomads smash Essity Stadium attendance record
The biggest attendance of the night was recorded at the Essity Stadium, with 1,557 supporters watching Connah’s Quay Nomads take on Flint.
The crowd marked a new record for the Nomads’ home ground, comfortably surpassing their previous highest attendance at the stadium.
It also represents a welcome boost for a club which entered the fixture with the lowest average attendance in the Cymru Premier, having averaged just 297 supporters per game before Friday night.
The record-breaking crowd will go some way towards improving that figure as the season progresses.
Friday Night Lights aims to bring more supporters through the gates
The fixture was part of an initiative involving Alex Catton, founder of Chester-based sports travel company Vedere Travel, who worked with The Nomads on the ‘Friday Night Lights’ event.
A number of activities were organised to attract more people to the stadium and create an occasion beyond the football itself.
A fireworks display was arranged alongside Flint RNLI, while food stalls were also available for supporters attending the match.
There was also a special appearance from ‘Kid De Gea‘, who took on penalties from the academies of both clubs at half-time.
The initiative offered families and younger supporters additional reasons to attend, with the aim of creating a memorable Friday night experience and encouraging greater engagement with the club.
