gap Connah’s Quay Nomads have completed the signing of Airbus midfielder Ryan Wignall.
Wignall is the latest of many former Airbus men to join ex-Airbus coach Andy Morrison at Deeside, with Ian Kearney, Jay Owen, Mike Pearson and Lewis Short all joining the Nomads in the summer.
An attacking midfielder, Wignall has been ever-present in the Airbus starting line up since his move to the club from Conwy Borough in January 2014.
Wignall has previously made appearances for AFC Liverpool, Cammell Laird, and Belgian side Royal Racing FC Montegnee.
He also played for Liverpool FC’s youth system, where he won the FA Youth Cup twice. Since his move to the Welsh game, he has become known for his pacy and attacking nature.
He will wear number 17 for Nomads, and be available for their 2nd vs 3rd game with Bala Town on Saturday 14 January for a 5:15pm kick off.
