Blaenrhondda lift the W John Owen Cup after defeating favourites Penydarren BGC at Cambrian’s Lakeside Academy.
Both teams had celebrated winning their respective titles, but it was Blaenrhondda who had Cup joy as they defeated a team two divisions above them.

Steve Jones and Huw Bowtell struck early in the second-half after a goalless first forty-five. Chris Colvin-Owens tried to inspire a comeback but his 72nd minute was all but in vain.
