Conwy Borough midfielder Lewis Clayton has hit the right note after a superb rendition of John Legend’s All of Me.
Recorded by teammate Cory Williams, the video has been over 100,000 times and shared on the social media pages of Footy Accumulators and The Sportsman.
The team were travelling back from Mid Wales having played a Huws Gray Alliance League fixture with Guilsfield.
Having gone a man down and trailing in the 88th minute, Conwy Borough turned the game around to go 2-1 in front in stoppage time. Corrig McGonigle and Sean McAffrey netting the two late goals to give the Tangerines the victory.
The 80.1 mile trip from Guilsfield was made even more enjoyable as Clayton took to the microphone and provided entertainment for the backroom staff and teammates with a belting rendition of the R&B classic.
A very happy Conwy Borough bus ride home from Guilsfield tonight. Thanks to @Lewisclayton97 for the entertainment 👌🍊⚽️ Class.#Tangies #LocalJohnLegend #XFactor #3Points pic.twitter.com/6wJcDHDP9H

The win put Conwy Borough up to tenth place, six points off the drop zone. Conwy Borough won the Welsh Alliance League and Cup double last season.
Clayton joined Conwy Borough back in the summer having relocated from Stevenage. He had previous playing experience with clubs like Histon Town FC, St Ives Town and Soham Town Rangers.
